Process
From plans to permit, explained.
Permitting is where most Southern California projects stall. Here is the path a project takes through our office — and why keeping survey, engineering, and drafting under one roof shortens it.
- 01
Survey & documentation
Topography, boundaries, and existing conditions captured — by drone where the site calls for it. Everything downstream is drawn on this data.
- 02
Feasibility & design
Zoning, setbacks, and structural approach resolved before drafting begins, so the plan set is drawn once, not redrawn.
- 03
Construction drawings
Architectural and structural sheets drafted in-house to the submitting jurisdiction's checklist.
- 04
Submittal & plan check
We submit, track, and respond to correction letters directly — the drafter who drew the sheet answers the comment on it.
- 05
Permit issued
With the permit in hand, the same firm that engineered the project prices and builds it. No re-bidding, no translation loss.
